ARISTAL was engaged by a large regional banking group to plan and manage the implementation of the bank’s regional core banking replacement program. This was an ambitious program that aimed to replace the core banking systems across its regional offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand.
ARISTAL was responsible to manage and oversee the program implementation roadmap and to direct the overall efforts of the system integrators, vendors, client personnel in replacing the existing core systems with a new Silverlake integrated banking systems in 4 countries over a 5 years period, involving over 700+ project team members with a budget of over RM 1.1 billion. The implementation in Malaysia, being the biggest and most complex leg of the whole program, involved a massive data migration of more than 8 million customers and participation of 12,000 users across 320 branches and head offices.
