A top Malaysian bank embarked on a project to achieve Straight Through Processing (STP) for CASA account opening and credit card applications which marked the beginning of the banking digitalization wave in Malaysia.
The bank engaged Aristal to plan, drive and manage the projects’ end-to-end implementation. With the straight through processing capability, the application of banking products would be performed digitally via the internet & mobile banking channels which were accessible anytime anywhere, transforming the customer’s banking experience. The first of these initiatives, the online current account opening and straight through processing, was launched successfully in September 2015.
