Aristal Helped a Top Philippines Digital Bank to Implement a New Core Banking Platform & Mobile Banking App

Aristal was engaged by a top digital bank in the Philippines to provide advisory services for the implementation of a new core banking platform and a new mobile banking application.

The full-fledged digital bank established in December 2018 with headquarters in Malaysia, embarked on a program to migrate its current core banking to a new core banking platform with microservices and a high availability architecture setup. The new core banking platform had high scalability capability and provided standard APIs for partners’ self-integration. The program also involved the migration of the existing mobile banking application to a new mobile banking application, the integration between the new core banking system with various systems (such as fraud, anti-money laundering, regulatory & operation reporting, ERP, telcos, ATM, VISA for debit card integration) as well as the launch of a new product.

Aristal provided oversight, guidance, support & review for the Data Migration & Deployment plans and activities. Aristal team was on-site in the Philippines to support the Mock Runs, Cutover and Post-Cutover activities. The project was successfully implemented in May 2022.
