A top regional bank acquired the retail banking business of a global bank in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Aristal was engaged by the regional bank to provide project management services for the Malaysia merger integration project.
The project covered the migration of retail customers and products into the bank’s core banking applications (such as deposit, loan, wealth, credit & debit cards) & downstream applications, network deployment at the acquired bank’s branches & head office and the deployment of desktops, laptops, telephony & printers.
Aristal was the overall PMO for Legal Day 1 and oversaw the Testing, Deployment and Infrastructure workstreams for Operations Day 1. The project Legal Day 1 and Operations Day 1 went live successfully in Nov 2022 and Jul 2023 respectively.
