Aristal was engaged by a large Malaysian banking group to implement a new Multi-Channel Switch (MCS) system, that would upgrade the bank’s existing switch architecture to support a multi-channel payment solution to better power their products and service offerings. The MCS program entailed the replacement of the bank’s ATM switch and Debit Card management system in preparation for the consolidation of multiple switches within the bank into one.
Aristal led the overall program management, change control and deployment activities, and played key supporting roles in testing and data conversion. The MCS system successfully went live in August 2016, and enabled the bank to achieve ease of maintainability, lower cost of ownership and faster time to market.
